Evolve Joins Network of Like-Minded Firms

Evolve has joined the Managed Care Resource Alliance. According to its website, the Managed Care Resource Alliance (MCRA) is an assemblage of industry leaders who share a singular goal: to “help drive performance improvements, deliver exceptional service, transform care, and champion the health and wellbeing of the communities our members serve.”

With diverse, much-needed services and a senior-centered and nationwide focus, the MCRA is an excellent fit with Evolve’s business goals, said Spike Cheever, Evolve’s director of business development.

“We’re always looking for ways to bring better service and higher value to our members, and the MCRA is a great way to do that,” Cheever said. “Many of the firms in the alliance have a similar approach to ours—just for different services and types of help that our members might need.”

For example, one MCRA partner provides HIPAA-compliant communication services that improve patient access, while another is a dental benefits corporation with a nationwide network of providers—just like Evolve’s pre-vetted contractor network. Another partner firm provides pre- and post-payment claims auditing and compliance services, while still another focuses on interactive online learning and socialization for seniors.

Evolve is a great fit for this spectrum of services, Cheever said, because each partner in the MCRA aims to achieve the same thing: providing workable solutions to managed-care challenges for clients.

In a post on MRCA’s “Viewpoints” blog, Cheever said Evolve has “the nation’s largest network of providers who are trained, credentialed, and qualified to provide you with the modifications you need.  … Our goal is to repeat what a member in Virginia stated when she said, ‘I love my new ramp. They did a good job. I am not afraid of falling anymore!’”

There is a lot of fear associated with growing older: fear of health challenges, of financial challenges, of losing independence. We at Evolve have long sought to erase some of those fears by helping seniors and people with disabilities live independently in their homes for as long as possible. By joining MCRA, we hope to continue to add more and more value to our member experience.
